It’s here, the Zombie Apocalypse.
Supplies: An arsenal of Nerf guns and ammo.
Okay, I cannot take credit for this game. One of the library pages (a person who shelves books, not an actual page out of a book.) had an idea for a program. Matthew was a teenager at the time and came to my programs when he could. He kept on me about having a Nerf Gun Program at the library. We had the space behind the library to host it. He had the idea for Nerf: Zombies vs. Humans game.
The game starts with 3 shambling dim witted zombies. They are after every teen at the library humans!
Rules:
- The Zombies Your goal is to turn everyone else into a zombie. You must tag humans, but avoid the zombie hunters. If are hit by a zombie hunter’s Nerf dart, then you are frozen for 10 seconds.
- The Frightened Masses When a zombie gets within arms length of you, you become frightened senseless and freeze. Your only hope comes from the hunter. If the hunter tags you, you are unfrozen and can run away. However if a zombie tags you, you have been “bitten” and are now a zombie.
- The Zombie Hunter-Your goal is to stun the zombies and unfreeze the frightened masses. You are never allowed any closer than 8 steps from a zombie. You may not stun a zombie when rescuing one of the frightened masses
- The game ends when all the humans are turned into zombies.
- Zombies do not get Nerf guns.
- No head/face shots.
- At the end of the game help pick up all the Nerf darts and remember to empty your pockets.
